Scientific name: Apsidites Melanocephalus)

One, if not the most impressive species of Australian python. They are by far my favorite python. BHP can reach lengths of 8-10 feet. They are very intune with their surroundings and recognize their keepers. Adults take 3-4 years to mature and females lay some of the largest eggs of any python species. Babies minic small cobra's as they flatten thier neck and coil back for a strike. The bloodlines I work with are represented by Jim Sargent's "Grainger" line and Rare Earth stock.
